京都新聞によると京都市伏見区にある下鳥羽公園（京セラ本社の南西側）が日本サッカー協会の助成金のもと人工芝サッカーグラウンドになる。総工費1億8900万円の工事で9月に工事を終え、11月にオープンの予定。
憩いの場としていた近所のおじ様方には悪いが、京都府始めての公認人工芝グラウンドということで期待。
